The Diploma in Port Operation Management (6 Months) offered by NITPS is designed to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of the operational and management activities involved in modern port and maritime environments. The program covers essential concepts related to port administration, vessel operations, cargo movement, terminal management, shipping documentation, logistics, and supply chain management.

Students learn how different port activities are coordinated, including vessel arrival and departure, berthing, cargo handling, container operations, warehousing, freight forwarding, and transportation. The curriculum also introduces learners to customs and export-import procedures, port equipment, maritime safety, security practices, and environmental management.

The course further develops knowledge of logistics planning, inventory management, shipping services, documentation, and basic port performance management.
